Free-Running is a physical and mental discipline in which Free-Runner’s train with the intent to develop their mind and body in order to overcome and interact with obstacles in urban and natural environments in the most intelligent and physically challenging manner.
Freerunning includes running, vaulting, climbing, and jumping. It is an expressive form of urban acrobatics which consists of a balance of speed, conservation of energy and safety. Efficiency relates to the idea of overcoming obstacles. It’s considered a serious discipline as well as a progressive art.
Tempest Freerunning Academy is the only inside facility in LA which devotes it’s self to the sport and lifestyle. They have many events where you can watch live or test it out your self.
