Located in the center of today’s Fashion District, The New Mart Building was the first high rise to be built in Downtown Los Angeles. The ground floor housed the Manufacturers Bank, which was founded to service the local apparel manufacturers from 1975 - 2004. The 20,000 square feet bank is now home to HATCh showroom, and features the original safety deposit vault space. Due to federal financial laws, owner Kay Sides and Betsee Isenberg fought long and hard to keep this breath taking feature, which today showcases HATCh accessories.
